My youth club experience:
I have learned that if someone is sexually abused, that person must not be scared to tell someone they trust about it, because if they don’t talk then this problem will eat them up inside everyday of their life and it will affect their studies. That person will be moody and they will not treat other people well because they will constantly be thinking about the person who abused them.
Located in a mountain area outside of Johannesburg, Camp Sizanani provides education, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention and crucial life skills all wrapped up in a spirit of fun and camaraderie. Multiple times a year, hundreds of children from some of South Africa’s poorest townships hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS crisis come together for several magical days at camp to learn, to laugh, and to love again.
